AI for Executive Assistants & Admin Professionals

No role sees more of an organization than the executive assistant: the inbox, the calendar, the travel, and the confidences that come with them. This course shows assistants and admin professionals how to let AI take the first pass on drafting and organizing while keeping discretion, judgment, and relationships in human hands. You'll learn to protect executive information, draft in the executive's voice, verify every logistics detail, and gatekeep against AI-enabled impersonation. You'll finish with a five-verb checklist to run on your next week.

Course Description

AI can sort the inbox, propose meeting slots, draft the itinerary, and write the first page of a briefing in minutes. It knows nothing about who matters to the executive, which meeting can never move, or which reply should never be sent. This course teaches the practice that takes the speed and keeps the discretion.

What you'll learn

  • What calendars, inboxes, and travel reveal, and how to minimize before any prompt
  • A voice note for drafting in the executive's voice, and who may send which messages
  • The six-point logistics check for dates, time zones, names, amounts, and identifiers
  • Inbox triage, scheduling by meaning, and itineraries and expenses verified line by line
  • Sourced briefings, meeting follow-ups within the hour, and research memos with confidence levels
  • Gatekeeping with four questions, and refusing cloned voices and perfect emails

Answers to the most common questions about this course.

What is the AI for Executive Assistants & Admin Professionals course?
It's a RiseCert online course that teaches executive assistants and admin professionals to use AI for inbox, calendar, travel, documents, briefings, and meetings while keeping discretion and judgment their own. It covers protecting executive information, writing in the executive's voice, logistics verification, and gatekeeping, in 15 video lessons (about 1 hour 15 minutes) plus a final exam.
Who should take an AI course for executive assistants?
Executive assistants, personal assistants, administrative professionals, office managers, and chiefs of staff who handle a leader's inbox, calendar, travel, documents, and meetings. AI for Executive Assistants & Admin Professionals is built around their real day, with scenarios like a board chair's scheduling request, a three-city itinerary, and an angry partner's email.
How can executive assistants use AI without risking confidentiality?
By giving the tool the shape of the information, not its content. The course teaches minimizing and anonymizing before any prompt: availability windows instead of meeting titles, attendees as codes, subjects as codes, no whole threads. Use approved tools only, and remember that a city, a date, and a name can reveal a deal.
Can AI write emails in my executive's voice?
Yes, with a voice note: eight to ten real samples across message types, rules with examples, phrases they use and never use, and tone by audience. The course also sets three sending tiers. Logistics go under your name, delegated routine replies under theirs, and decisions, commitments, and difficult or personal messages are sent only by the executive.
What does AI most often get wrong when scheduling or booking travel?
Plausible logistics details: a date on the wrong weekday, a time in the wrong zone, a name spelled the common way, an amount from another quote, a flight number that doesn't exist, or a connection too short to make. The course's six-point check verifies dates, times, names, amounts, identifiers, and sequence against sources before anything is booked or sent.
Should AI draft condolence notes or replies to angry emails?
No. The course names five categories the tool doesn't draft: care messages such as condolences, conflict, personal matters, reputation issues, and people decisions. The tool may summarize the history, pull facts, and list complaints in an approved tool, but a person writes every word the recipient reads.
What will I be able to do after the course?
You'll be able to minimize executive data before prompting, build and maintain a voice note, apply sending tiers, run the six-point logistics check, triage the inbox with your own priority judgment, resolve scheduling conflicts by meaning, verify itineraries and expenses, produce sourced briefings, send verified follow-ups within the hour, write research memos with confidence levels, and gatekeep.
Can my executive tell me to use a free AI tool for their documents?
No. The course is clear that an executive can't authorize a breach of the company's data policy. Executive email, calendar, documents, and travel details go only into approved tools, minimized. If no approved tool fits, check with IT or legal in writing. One paste of a board pack into a free tool is a breach.
Do I need technical skills to take this course?
No. AI for Executive Assistants & Admin Professionals has no prerequisites and requires no technical background. It's taught through the work you already do, such as inbox triage, scheduling, travel, briefings, and meeting follow-up. Comfort with email and calendar tools is enough, and it works with whatever AI features your organization has approved.
How is this different from a general AI productivity course?
General courses teach prompting for generic tasks. This course is built for the executive support role: what an executive's calendar reveals, sending tiers for messages in their name, logistics checks, the never-record meeting list, briefings checked against sources, gatekeeping questions, and defenses against cloned voices. It is vendor-neutral and doesn't endorse any specific AI product.
How long does the course take to complete?
The course has about 1 hour 15 minutes of video across 15 lessons, plus a final exam. Lessons run about five minutes each and are organized into three modules: Discretion First; The Daily Work; and Documents, Events, and Judgment. Most learners finish in one or two sittings.
Is the course online and self-paced?
Yes. The course is 100% online and self-paced, and your access does not expire. You can start, pause, and resume at any time on a computer, tablet, or phone with a modern web browser. There's nothing to install, so you can fit lessons around your executive's schedule.
Is there a final exam?
Yes. The course ends with a 30-question multiple-choice final exam covering all three modules. You need a score of 80% or higher (24 of 30) to pass, and you can retake the exam as many times as you need. Finish all 15 lessons and pass the exam to complete the course and earn your certificate.
Do I get a certificate of completion?
Yes. After you complete all 15 lessons and pass the final exam, you can download a RiseCert certificate of completion from your account. It is a course completion certificate, not a license, professional certification, or continuing education (CE) certificate.
Is the course approved for CE or CEU credit?
No. AI for Executive Assistants & Admin Professionals is not currently approved or accredited for continuing education credit, including CE or CEU credit, by any state, licensing body, professional association, or accrediting organization. If you need credits for a professional designation, take a course approved by the body that issues it.
How does the course handle AI impersonation and phishing aimed at assistants?
Lesson 3.4 covers AI-enabled attempts to get past the gate: perfect emails built from public sources, voice messages in a known person's voice, fake thread histories, timed urgency, and relayed instructions. The course teaches that polish is not a credential, to call back on the number on file, to check the real mailbox, and to verify with the executive.
Is the course legal or HR advice?
No. The course is educational and is not legal or HR advice. Your employer's data, privacy, and AI policies, along with IT, legal, and HR, govern what you do in a specific situation, including which AI tools are approved and which meetings may be recorded. When unsure, the course's rule is to check in writing.
Does the course cover recording and summarizing meetings?
Yes. Lesson 2.5 covers consent in the invite and aloud, the meetings never to record (board, legal, HR, regulators, people one-to-ones, and private meetings), keeping transcripts in the approved tool, a summary template with UNASSIGNED actions, confirming the executive's commitments, and sending the follow-up within the hour.
How much does the course cost, and can I enroll my team?
The course costs $99 per learner as a one-time purchase, with no subscription or recurring fees. To enroll a team of assistants or an entire administrative group, contact RiseCert through the Contact Us page at risecert.org.
What is the refund policy?
All sales are final and no refunds are issued, as stated in the RiseCert Terms of Use. Please review the course description, lesson list, and these FAQs before purchasing, and contact RiseCert with any questions first.
