AI for Sales Professionals

AI for Sales Professionals shows sellers how to hand the research, writing, admin, and preparation that fill most of the sales week to an AI assistant, and keep the relationship, the negotiation, and the close for themselves. You'll build verified account fact sheets, write outreach that sounds like you, prepare for calls, turn call notes into CRM updates, and draft proposals from approved material and the price book. Throughout, three rules apply: every claim accurate, every customer's data private, and every commitment yours.

Course Description

Most sellers spend only a small part of the week actually selling. AI assistants can take back much of the rest, the research, drafting, summarizing, and CRM work, if they're used with discipline. This course teaches a practical, trustworthy way to sell with AI: research, reach, prepare, verify, and close.

What you'll learn

  • Ten-minute account research into a fact sheet that separates facts, inferences, and questions
  • Outreach and follow-up sequences in your own voice, built on one verified specific
  • Protecting prospect data: public versus private, anonymizing, and approved tools only
  • Discovery prep, call summaries with consent, and objection answers from approved material
  • Proposals and quotes from the price book, plus the accuracy pass and claims check
  • CRM hygiene, pipeline signals, honest forecasts, and blame-free win/loss reviews

Answers to the most common questions about this course.

What is the AI for Sales Professionals course?
AI for Sales Professionals is a RiseCert online course that teaches sellers to use AI assistants for research, outreach, call prep, call notes, proposals, and pipeline work, while keeping relationships, negotiation, and every commitment human. It includes 15 video lessons (just over an hour) and a final exam, organized around three rules: accurate, private, yours.
Who should take an AI course for sales teams?
Account executives, sales development reps, account managers, sales engineers, and sales managers who use or plan to use AI assistants in their selling. It also suits sales operations and enablement staff who maintain CRM data, objection libraries, and playbooks. No technical background is needed; every example comes from everyday B2B sales work.
How can salespeople use AI for outreach without sounding generic?
Brief the assistant with four lines: who (with one verified fact), why now, one small ask, and your voice rules, plus two of your best past emails. AI for Sales Professionals also teaches you to ban the generated-email tells, such as throat-clearing openers, buzzwords, and exclamation marks, and to keep messages under about 90 words.
Is it safe to put prospect and customer information into AI tools?
Only in approved tools, and only what's needed. The course teaches the difference between public professional information, which is usable research, and private information like call confidences, budgets, and contract terms. Anonymize notes with placeholders before pasting, and never put customer material into personal accounts, free tiers, or browser extensions, even anonymized.
Can AI negotiate or make pricing decisions for a seller?
No. In AI for Sales Professionals, the assistant is a preparation partner: it maps positions, lists possible trades from approved terms, and plays a hard buyer in practice. Concessions, discounts beyond the price book, and commitments are the seller's decisions, escalated to the deal desk where needed and confirmed in writing by the seller.
Can you trust an AI sales forecast?
Treat it as one input, never as the number. The course shows how a precise-looking AI forecast can rest on generic stage probabilities. Ask what assumptions it used, recompute with your team's actual stage-to-close history, and request a range. The seller then adds what the data can't see and commits the forecast personally.
What is a sales objection library?
An objection library is a shared list of the objections a sales team hears, each with an approved answer, its proof, the source, an owner, and a date. AI for Sales Professionals teaches keeping 20 to 30 entries, reviewing them quarterly, and instructing the assistant to answer only from the library and escalate when no approved answer exists.
Do I need technical skills or AI experience to take the course?
No. AI for Sales Professionals requires no coding or technical background. Basic familiarity with an AI chat assistant and a CRM helps, but every technique is shown step by step with sales examples, from writing a research brief to building a proposal's investment table from price-book lines.
What will I be able to do after completing the course?
You'll be able to build a sourced account fact sheet, write personalized outreach and short follow-up sequences, prepare discovery calls, turn recorded calls into CRM-ready summaries, answer objections from approved material, draft proposals with price-book quotes, run a claims check, keep the CRM clean, and review pipeline and win/loss data honestly.
How is this different from general sales training?
AI for Sales Professionals doesn't teach a sales methodology. It assumes you already sell and focuses on using AI assistants within your existing process: where the tool helps, where it creates risk such as invented claims, exposed data, or unauthorized promises, and the checks that keep every customer-facing word accurate and every commitment yours.
Which CRM or AI tools does the course cover?
The course is tool-neutral. Its techniques work with the general AI assistants, meeting note-takers, and CRM systems most sales teams already use, and no specific product is required or endorsed. Wherever customer data is involved, it assumes you use the tools your company has approved.
Is the course content up to date?
Yes. AI for Sales Professionals reflects how sales teams currently use AI assistants and meeting tools, and it focuses on durable practices, such as sourcing every claim, getting recording consent, and escalating pricing and legal questions, that stay valid as specific AI products change.
How long does the AI for Sales Professionals course take?
The course has just over an hour of video across 15 lessons, plus a final exam. Lessons run about four minutes each and are organized into three modules: Before the Conversation; In the Conversation; and Pipeline and Performance. Many learners finish in a sitting or two.
Is the course online and self-paced?
Yes. AI for Sales Professionals is 100% online and self-paced, and your access does not expire. You can start, pause, and resume at any time on a computer, tablet, or phone with a modern web browser, which makes it easy to fit between calls. There's nothing to install.
Is there a final exam?
Yes. The course ends with a 30-question multiple-choice final exam covering all three modules. You need a score of 80% or higher (24 of 30) to pass, and you can retake the exam as many times as you need. Finish all 15 lessons and pass the exam to complete the course.
Do I get a certificate of completion?
Yes. After you complete all 15 lessons and pass the final exam, you can download a RiseCert certificate of completion from your account. It is a course completion certificate, not a license, a professional sales certification, or a continuing education certificate.
Does the course count for continuing education (CE) credit?
No. AI for Sales Professionals is not currently approved or accredited for continuing education credit (CE, CPE, or CEU) by any state, licensing body, or professional association. If you need credit hours for a license or designation, take a course approved by the body that issues it.
Is this course legal advice on sales claims or data privacy?
No. The course is educational and is not legal advice. It teaches practices for accurate claims, recording consent, and protecting customer data, but your employer's AI policy, your legal and compliance teams, and applicable law govern what you may say, record, and share. Escalate specific questions to them.
How much does the course cost, and can I enroll my sales team?
The course costs $99 per learner as a one-time purchase, with no subscription or recurring fees. To enroll a sales team or organization, contact RiseCert through the Contact Us page at risecert.org.
Can I get a refund?
No. All sales are final and no refunds are issued, per the RiseCert Terms of Use. Before you buy, review the course description, the lesson list, and these FAQs to confirm AI for Sales Professionals fits your needs, or contact RiseCert with questions through the Contact Us page at risecert.org.
