AI for Property Management

AI for Property Management, RiseCert Industry Track, 5-course track

AI for Property Management is the RiseCert Industry Track for property management professionals. Five video courses follow the shape of your operation, from the first inquiry to the renewal and the owner report, and show exactly where AI earns your team time and where your judgment, your fair-housing obligations, and your resident relationships stay in charge. Every lesson is written for property managers, leasing teams, maintenance staff, and owners, not technologists, and every example is a real-world scenario from a working portfolio.

You will learn where AI fits across leasing, maintenance, accounting, owner reporting, and compliance, and which decisions must stay with people. You will set up an AI leasing assistant that answers inquiries at any hour and books tours overnight, disclose it honestly, and hand off to a person at the right moments. You will use predictive maintenance and smart building alerts to catch failing equipment before residents notice, with a technician confirming every consequential call. You will read AI rent recommendations like a manager and decide every price independently, with the reasons on record, in a market where algorithmic rent-setting draws attention from regulators and courts. And you will finish with the screening, marketing, and documentation practices that keep AI out of fair-housing trouble, and a compliance file that holds up to a complaint.

How it works

Each course runs as three modules of five focused lessons, around five to six minutes each, with a knowledge check after every lesson. Watch on any device at your own pace and earn a certificate for each completed course. The full track is 75 lessons and about 7 hours of video, designed to fit around turnovers and month-end over a few weeks.

Who it’s for

Property managers, leasing agents, maintenance supervisors, regional managers, and owner-operators who want to use AI to run more doors with the same team without putting residents, owners, or the company at fair-housing risk. This track is training, not legal, fair-housing, or pricing-compliance advice. Your company’s policies, your state and local landlord-tenant rules, and federal law govern how AI is used in your operation.
